It's hard enough to lose a loved one, but it sort of adds insult to injury when you pick up the ashes from the veterinary office and they are in a cold plastic box or a metal can. I've been there way too many times. I decided that there has to be something I can offer people who are grieving the loss of a beloved pet and just can't stand to see their final resting place so cold and impersonal. I offer these wooden box urns, hand painted with your favorite portrait of the one who's gone to the rainbow bridge.
